RN - Registered Nurse - Surgical Rehab

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols for patients undergoing orthopedic, bariatric, and neurosurgical procedures on the 18-bed 4 Surgical unit. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Work full-time nights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. at UAB St. Vincent's East. Requires current Alabama RN licensure and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
