RN - Registered Nurse - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Multiple Shifts

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate, serving as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Work in a 14-bed Surgical ICU at UAB St. Vincent's East, specializing in post-operative and critically ill surgical patients with continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring.
