RN - Registered Nurse - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Multiple Shifts

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. This role supports post-operative and critically ill surgical patients at UAB St. Vincent's East's 14-bed SICU, utilizing continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring within a team-oriented environment.
