Job Summary
Supervise healthcare team members including CNAs and direct resident care while performing professional nursing services. Conduct regular rounds assessing health and mental status, assist physicians, and manage electronic records and documentation. Ensure medications and treatments follow orders, oversee infection control and nursing policies, and implement the QAPI process. Recruit and retain nursing staff while managing census growth. Work long hours including nights and weekends, lifting up to 50 lbs and standing frequently.
Required Qualifications
- Supervisory experience
- Current and valid RN license
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards
- Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid
- Four year college or university degree
- Two years' experience in a similar healthcare position
- Management experience
- Ability to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs
- Ability to push up to 250 pounds independently
- Proper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living
- Long hours and frequent night and weekend work availability
