Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process across assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation. Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Practices within the Nurse Practice Act and relevant standards; supports resident care across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment, and education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
