Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine healthcare needs and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while maintaining accurate, up-to-date patient records. Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, and other medical procedures following infection control guidelines. Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care techniques. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure physical and emotional well-being. Monitor vital signs, identify potential risks, and respond to emergencies to ensure a safe therapeutic environment. Adhere to regulatory standards including HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital policies. Stay current with latest nursing practices through ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion and empathy for patients
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
