Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine healthcare needs and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while providing skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, and other medical procedures. Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care techniques, and maintain accurate patient records ensuring compliance with legal and institutional standards. Monitor vital signs, identify potential risks, and respond to emergencies to ensure a safe therapeutic environment. Adhere to all regulatory standards including HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital policies while collaborating with physicians and support staff. Stay current with latest nursing practices through ongoing training and educational opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion and empathy for patients
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
