Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols for critically ill patients in the 14-bed SICU. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing, recording, and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
