RN - Registered Nurse - SICU - Multiple Shifts

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols for critically ill patients in the 14-bed SICU. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, monitoring and recording patient conditions as appropriate. This role supports patients including post-surgical, neurosurgical, and neurological cases within a collaborative environment at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham.
