Job Summary
Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to triage and prioritize patient needs while serving in a roving role to address emergent situations throughout the shift. Educate patients and families on symptom management, assist in complex care coordination, and monitor patient flow in the clinic. Perform phone triage, answer eCare messages, document outcomes in Epic, and support patients undergoing TBI prior to transplant. Work part-time 8-hour days Monday through Friday with occasional weekend call shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of recent oncology, medical-surgical, or ambulatory nursing experience
- Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
- Active BLS (required by start date)
- Active PALS (required within first 6 months)
- Must be willing to work with pediatric patients
- Part time schedule 8-hour day shifts, 3 - 4 days per week Monday-Friday
- 1-2 weekend shifts per month
- Shifts will run between 7:00am and 7:00pm
