Job Summary

Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatment plans for Long Term Care residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate outcomes, educate families, and manage preventative health maintenance. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Work 12-hour night shifts (6pm–6:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays as a part-time employee earning $32.00–$48.00 per hour, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be available for holiday shifts
  • Must be available for rotating shifts
  • Must be available for night shifts
  • Must be available for 12-hour shifts
  • Must be available for part-time work
  • Must be able to work in a Christian environment
  • Must be able to work in a not-for-profit organization

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
