Job Summary
RN (Registered Nurse) PRN in MedSurg Oncology on Days shift. Inpatient Oncology unit with 28 beds providing care to adult cancer patients, including inpatient treatments and hospice needs. Role requires at least 2 years of nursing experience in the specified area, data entry/computer experience, and Epic/3M experience preferred. Core responsibilities include applying the nursing process, patient-centered care with cultural sensitivity, effective communication and documentation, teamwork, performance improvement, and precepting/mentoring. Must meet licensure and certification requirements upon hire (RN licensure in a single state or multi-state compact, BLS, ACLS; other certifications may be required). Location: Evans, GA, USA. Requires in-person hospital-based care with day shift schedule and PRN rotations including weekends/holidays when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- Minimum 2 years current experience in specified area of practice
- Epic and 3M experience Preferred
