Job Summary
RN – PRN MedSurg Oncology, Day shift. Provides nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based practice; delivers patient-centered care tailored to age, gender, and disease specifics; collaborates with patients and families through bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds; participates in performance improvement and supports a healthy, collaborative care environment. Requires 2+ years of oncology/med-surg nursing experience, computer/data entry proficiency, and current RN licensure with BLS and ACLS; Epic and 3M experience preferred. Oncology unit includes adult cancer patients with inpatient care needs, telemetry, and potential hospice support; a 28-bed unit with a focus on high-quality outcomes and adherence to organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years current experience in oncology/medical-surgical nursing
- Computer/data entry experience
- RN license (State of Georgia or multi-state compact)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification (or equivalent)
- Epic and 3M experience (preferred)
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's Preferred)
