Job Summary
RN PRN MedSurg Oncology - Days in North Augusta, SC. The role supports the Oncology Unit’s inpatient care for adult cancer patients, requires 2+ years of experience, and involves completing the nursing process, delivering relationship-based patient-centered care, coordinating care through interdisciplinary collaboration, and upholding evidence-based standards. Responsibilities include leadership as a preceptor/mentor for other nurses, participation in performance improvement activities, and adherence to hospital policies. The position uses Epic and 3M systems and emphasizes teamwork, documentation, and culturally competent care on a twenty-eight-bed unit with day shifts and PRN scheduling (3 shifts every 28 days with weekend/holiday coverage when applicable).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years current experience in specified area of practice
- Computer/data entry experience
- Epic and 3M experience preferred
- Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
