Job Summary
RN (Registered Nurse) PRN in MedSurg Oncology for Day shift in Wellstar Oncology Unit. Provides relationship-based, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation) with evidence-based practices. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, coordinates safe, quality patient care, supports performance improvement initiatives, serves as a preceptor/mentor for staff and students, and ensures comprehensive documentation while adhering to safety standards and policies. Requires 2 years of current experience in the area, computer/data entry experience, and Epic and 3M experience are preferred. Minimum education includes Associates Diploma or Bachelors in Nursing; BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire (or as specified).
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN license (US) or RN-Compact (mutli-state)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Epic and 3M experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years current experience in specified area of practice
- Computer/data entry experience
