Job Summary
Provide comprehensive nursing care and health assessments to residents while administering medications and performing clinical procedures. Support physicians and the Resident Health Office in coordinating care and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Accurately document all interactions and communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members to promote safety, independence, and well-being. This full-time role at Pennswood Village in Newtown, PA, requires a licensed RN with geriatric experience and the ability to lift 20 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
- Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Additional education in physical assessment
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position, i.e., lifting a minimum of 20 lbs., bending, transferring of patients
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in geriatrics preferred
