Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors; develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. This role is part-time with a day shift in the pre-surgery nursing unit.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS) [Required]
- 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]
