Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in an HCA Florida South Tampa/Saint Petersburg setting delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of nursing functions during the shift. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating care for pre-surgical and pre-procedural patients; instructing patients and families on medications and treatment; maintaining and reviewing patient records; and administering medications per physician orders. Requires an RN or RN Diploma with 1+ years of experience, Florida RN license (or compact), current BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and CPI training within 6 months. The role supports a collaborative, outcomes-driven nursing team within an acute-care hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- 1+ years applicable experience required
- Current Florida State Registered Nurse license and/or active compact license
- Current BLS required
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire/ transfer
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required within 6 months of hire/ transfer
