Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care on a 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Requires current Alabama RN licensure and BLS certification. Full-time roles available days (7a-7p) or nights (7p-7a) at UAB St. Vincent's East.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
