Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care and monitor patient care plans for post-operative bariatric patients in a 24-bed unit. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Implement and record patient conditions as appropriate while maintaining licensure as a Registered Nurse in Alabama. Full-time days (7a to 7p) and nights (7p to 7a) shifts are available. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification for BLS
