Job Summary
RN, Registered Nurse – ICU travel contract (Per Diem), 12-hour rotating night shifts at Chamberlain Medical Center in Britton, SD. Requires an active RN license in the practice state (or multi-state license under NLC) and graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s in nursing preferred. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process across all phases of care, collaborating with inter-professional teams, patient assessment and education, triage, and coordinating care within the Nurse Practice Act and state rules. Travel contracts are 14 weeks with potential extensions or movement to another Sanford site; benefits package available for qualifying employees.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multi-state licensure in an NLC state
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Travel experience of at least six months (for travel staffing)
- Rotating 12-hour shifts
- Contract length 14 weeks with option to extend or transfer to another Sanford site
