Job Summary
RN per diem travel nurse for ICU at Chamberlain Medical Center on 12-hour rotating night shifts. 14-week contract with option to extend or transfer to another Sanford site. Requires graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure (BSN preferred); six months of travel experience; strong nursing process knowledge, patient assessment, education, triage, and collaboration with physicians. Benefits package offered for qualifying staff. Travel/staffing context includes weekly pay and stipends; location is De Smet, SD.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure (NLC)
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- At least six months of travel experience
- Contract 14 weeks with option to extend
- Current nursing competencies and ability to practice within scope
- Nurse Practice Act and state-specific rules
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts
- Per Diem travel assignment
- Inter-professional collaboration
- Health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
