Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients in the ICU, coordinating with physicians and inter-professional colleagues. Manage patient triage, education, and various nursing interventions across the continuum of care, from preventative health to follow-up. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and the Nurse Practice Act while adhering to Sanford's professional standards and code of ethics. Requires at least six months of travel experience, an unencumbered RN license, and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Contracts are 14 weeks with weekly pay including stipend, and rotating night shifts at Chamberlain Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of travel experience
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Sanford has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
