Job Summary
Conduct individualized nursing care for ICU patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care across the continuum of health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Manage patient triage, education, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise for age and population-specific settings. Requires at least six months of travel experience, a Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred), and an unencumbered RN license. Contracts are 14 weeks with rotating night shift options at Chamberlain Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of travel experience
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Sanford has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
