Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for ICU patients using the nursing process. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care across the continuum, including triage, patient education, and preventative health maintenance. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain unencumbered RN licensure and complete at least six months of travel experience. Contracts span 14 weeks with options to extend or relocate to other Sanford sites. Weekly pay includes a stipend, with rotating night shifts at Chamberlain Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of travel experience
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Sanford has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
