Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care, manage triage, and execute various nursing interventions within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act. Utilize age and population-specific standards designated in the assigned clinical setting while adhering to the Code of Ethics for Nurses. Requires at least six months of travel experience, an unencumbered RN license, and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Contracts are 14 weeks with weekly pay including a stipend, with rotating night shift coverage at Chamberlain Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of travel experience
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Sanford has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
