Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for ICU patients using the nursing process. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care, manage triage, provide patient education, and address all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires at least six months of travel experience, an unencumbered RN license, and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Contracts are 14 weeks with weekly pay including stipend.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of travel experience
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Sanford has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
