Job Summary
CCU RN responsible for direct, high-quality patient care for adults with cardiac conditions in the Coronary Care Unit, including monitoring cardiac status, applying the nursing process to plan and implement care, supervising other nursing personnel, educating patients and families about cardiac conditions and care plans, and ensuring patient safety and HIPAA compliance. Night shift (7p–7a, 12-hour shifts) with structured new graduate residency program and preceptor support; duties include responding to emergencies, communicating with physicians and healthcare teams, documenting care accurately, and maintaining CCU standards of care.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred
- Ventilator Management experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
