Job Summary
Assess patient plans, organize nursing activities, and evaluate care to meet patient needs while promoting safety and satisfaction. Coordinate patient care interactions, complete assessments per unit standards, and formulate plans of care including education and discharge planning with interdisciplinary teams. Provide direct care involving treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies, then evaluate intervention effectiveness and revise plans based on patient response. Collaborate with physicians and ancillary personnel to resolve patient needs, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in unit-based decision-making and quality safety education programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania
- Per Diem employees will self-schedule a minimum of 24 hours of availability on every 4-week schedule
- Per diem employees are required to work a minimum or eight (8) hours per schedule on a weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) or on a holiday or alternate shift
