Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Benchmark, you will deliver nursing care to residents, assess and document their health status, supervise Resident Care Assistants, and coordinate care needs with providers. The role involves mentoring staff, recognizing signs of elder abuse and acting appropriately, and responding to emergencies. Required qualifications include a current RN license, CPR certification, a graduate of an approved RN program, and 1 to 2 years of nursing experience, ideally with the elderly.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license as an RN
- CPR certification
- Graduate of an approved RN program (per state requirements)
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.
