Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate care plans, and educate dialysis patients at the 8-chair unit. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate dialysis care while documenting patient history, symptoms, and medications in compliance with regulations. Assume overall nursing accountability for patient care, delegate to unlicensed personnel, and utilize technology to enhance quality care. Work 12-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, three days a week, with no weekends. A sign-on bonus is available for qualifying full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
