Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, and evaluate dialysis patients while coordinating care plans with physicians and inter-professional colleagues. Implement individualized nursing interventions, educate patients, and document history, symptoms, and medications in compliance with state regulations and the Nurse Practice Act. Supervise unlicensed personnel and utilize technology to enhance quality care within an 8-chair unit. Work full-time day shifts (12 hours) Monday through Friday, with no weekends, at Chamberlain Medical Center. A sign-on bonus is available for qualifying candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
