Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and carry out physician and nursing orders. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Work full-time days or nights in three 12-hour shifts at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham, with BLS certification and Alabama RN licensure required.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
