Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions to the team. Serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs. Maintain BLS certification within 30 days of hire and hold current Alabama RN licensure.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
