Complete assessments, coordinate care plans, and provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy. Formulate and revise nursing interventions based on patient response while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to resolve needs. Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care. Problem-solve equipment issues and participate in unit-based decision-making regarding evidence-based practice and quality safety metrics. Work 6:30a-5p shifts with every other weekend and holiday requirements, including on-call rotation. Cardiac surgery experience is preferred for the Cardiac Heart Team.
