RN (Registered Nurse) Operating Room- General Surgery

Conduct perioperative nursing care for general surgery patients, performing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication through rounds and case reviews while documenting safe, quality patient care. Mentor staff and students as a preceptor, model professional practice, and participate in shared governance activities. Uphold evidence-based practice standards, contribute to protocol development, and support performance improvement initiatives to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Work part-time days for 24 hours at Wellstar Cobb Hospital.
