RN (Registered Nurse) Operating Room- General Surgery

Conduct perioperative nursing care for general surgery patients, performing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication through rounds and case reviews while documenting safe, quality patient care. Partner with patients and families to set care goals, provide bedside teaching, and adapt service delivery to reflect cultural diversity. Mentor staff and students to ensure a qualified workforce, and participate in performance improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice activities. Maintain current certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and comply with all system policies and professional standards.
