RN (Registered Nurse) Operating Room- General Surgery

Conduct perioperative nursing care for general surgery patients, performing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication through rounds and case reviews while documenting safe, quality patient care. Partner with patients and families to set goals and provide bedside teaching, adapting service delivery to reflect cultural diversity. Mentor staff and students to ensure a qualified workforce and participate in shared governance activities and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and complete mandatory education. Work part-time days for 24 hours at Wellstar Cobb Hospital.
