RN (Registered Nurse) Operating Room- General Surgery

Conduct perioperative nursing care for general surgery patients, performing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication through rounds and case reviews while ensuring timely documentation and promoting a respectful clinical environment. Partner with patients and families to set care goals, provide education, and adapt service delivery to population-specific characteristics. Mentor staff and students, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and contribute to protocol development to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Maintain current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS while adhering to Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and WellStar safety standards.
