Job Summary
Deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures by performing scrub and circulating functions, including instrument selection, patient monitoring, and communication of patient condition. Directly assist operating physicians with surgical tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning. Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use. Maintain BLS and Advanced Life Support certifications within required timeframes. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
