Job Summary
Deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures by performing scrub and circulating functions, including instrument handling, monitoring patient condition, and managing care before, during, and after surgery. Directly assist operating physicians with tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning while preparing operating rooms and surgical equipment. Requires BLS certification within 30 days and ACLS within 180 days, plus Alabama RN licensure. Schedule includes 6am-3pm Monday through Friday with rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
