Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Work full-time nights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on a 22-bed oncology unit that also manages medical-surgical patients.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification for BLS
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Professional licensure at time of hire
