RN- Registered Nurse- Observation Unit

Complete assessments and formulate patient care plans addressing physical, psychological, and social needs. Provide direct care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to resolve patient needs. Evaluate nursing interventions and coordinate discharge planning and family education throughout hospitalization. Participate in unit-based decision-making, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to quality and safety education programs. Perform duties on a 36-hour night shift (7p–7:30a) with every other weekend and holiday requirements.
