Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions as appropriate. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Work 36-hour full-time day shifts (3x 12-hour rotations, 7am-7pm) at Ascension Via Christi St Francis in Wichita, KS.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire
