Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the OB Emergency Department while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Work Friday and Saturday nights in Birmingham, AL, with a BLS certification required within 30 days of hire and Advanced Life Support within 180 days. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
