Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the OB Emergency Department while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Requires BLS certification within 30 days and Advanced Life Support within 180 days, along with Alabama RN licensure. Schedule includes Friday and Saturday night shifts. UAB St. Vincent's serves Alabama with a legacy of compassion and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
