Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the OB Emergency Department, implementing and monitoring patient care plans while communicating patient conditions to the team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with healthcare team members. This weekend-only night shift role requires BLS certification within 30 days and Advanced Life Support within 180 days, along with Alabama RN licensure. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
