Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the OB Emergency Department while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Maintain BLS and Advanced Life Support certifications within required timeframes. Required Qualifications
- Weekend, Friday and Saturday night
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
