Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care on the MICU Stepdown Unit. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders while assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs. Serve as the primary point of contact for communicating patient conditions to the healthcare team. Full-time nights (7pm-7am), full-time days (7am-7pm), or weekend day shifts (7am-7pm) available at UAB St. Vincent's East. New grads welcome.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
