RN - Registered Nurse- MICU Stepdown Unit- Multiple shifts

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Work in the MICU Stepdown Unit at UAB St. Vincent's East, an 18-bed facility providing close monitoring for patients with cardiac, respiratory, and complex medical conditions. Full-time shifts available including nights, days, and weekends. BLS certification and current Alabama RN licensure required.
